Whether you’re evaluating Linkstonic for the first time or looking for clarity on a specific feature, this page covers the questions we hear most often. Browse by section or use your browser’s search to find what you need.

Getting started

Linkstonic is an AI visibility and SEO intelligence platform that lets you track how your brand appears across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity — and fix the technical issues that hold you back in both AI-generated answers and organic search. From a single workspace you can run real-time TrueTrace AI audits, perform 14-plus-check technical SEO audits, monitor organic keyword rankings through SearchMind, and connect Google Search Console to correlate AI and organic performance.
Yes. The Starter plan is free forever — no credit card required. Starter includes:
  • 1 brand
  • 10 keywords
  • 2 AI platforms (ChatGPT and Gemini)
  • 3 SEO audits per month
  • Basic email alerts
  • 7-day data history
When you’re ready for more, you can upgrade to Pro or Agency at any time.
No. The Starter plan is completely free and requires no payment information. The Pro plan also includes a 14-day free trial that requires no credit card — you only need to add a payment method if you choose to continue on Pro after the trial ends.
It depends on what you’re running:
  • SEO audits complete in seconds.
  • TrueTrace Quick mode returns results in under 10 seconds — it queries a single AI model and is ideal for fast spot-checks.
  • TrueTrace Hybrid mode takes around 2 minutes — it runs multi-model validation across multiple AI platforms for higher-confidence results and a richer citation list.
  • AI keyword tracking results appear within a few hours of initial setup as Linkstonic begins querying your tracked platforms on a regular schedule.

AI visibility

Linkstonic tracks four major AI answer platforms:
  • ChatGPT (OpenAI)
  • Claude (Anthropic)
  • Gemini (Google)
  • Perplexity
The Starter plan includes 2 platforms (ChatGPT and Gemini). Pro and Agency plans include all 4.
TrueTrace and AI Tracking serve different but complementary purposes:TrueTrace is a deep, on-demand citability audit. You submit a URL or brand name and TrueTrace analyzes it in detail — returning a citability score, a list of citations found, FAQ gaps in your content, and a sentiment summary. Use TrueTrace when you want a thorough picture of how a specific page or brand is perceived by AI models right now.AI Tracking is continuous monitoring. It runs your tracked keywords across your selected AI platforms on a regular schedule and logs mention rates and position bands over time. Use AI Tracking to spot trends, catch drops, and measure the impact of content changes without running manual audits.Think of TrueTrace as a diagnostic deep dive and AI Tracking as your ongoing visibility dashboard.
The citability score is a 0–100 rating that estimates how likely AI models are to cite your content when answering relevant questions. A higher score indicates that your content is better structured, carries stronger topical authority, and is formatted in ways that AI models prefer to reference. The score functions as a prioritized improvement roadmap. It highlights specific gaps — missing FAQs, weak schema markup, thin sections — so you know what to fix first. It is a predictive estimate, not a guaranteed outcome: AI citations also depend on model training data freshness, query phrasing, and competitive context beyond your control.
Competitor Mode lets you compare two or more URLs side-by-side within AI-generated answers. You can see which pages are cited, how each one is described, and where gaps exist relative to competing content. Competitor Mode is available on the Agency plan only.
Both modes run a TrueTrace audit, but they differ in depth and speed:
  • Quick mode submits your query to a single AI model and returns results in under 10 seconds. It’s the fastest way to check current visibility for a URL or brand.
  • Hybrid mode runs multi-model validation across multiple AI platforms simultaneously. This takes approximately 2 minutes but produces higher-confidence results, a full citation list, and richer gap analysis — making it the better choice for thorough audits and reporting.

SEO audit

Linkstonic runs 14-plus automated checks on every audit, covering:
  • PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals
  • Mobile friendliness
  • Broken links
  • Schema markup (structured data)
  • Sitemap presence and validity
  • Robots.txt configuration
  • Security headers
  • Hreflang tags
  • E-E-A-T signals
  • HTML quality
  • Redirects
  • Duplicate content signals
  • Homepage authority
  • Internal linking structure
Each check returns a pass, warning, or critical flag with a plain-language explanation and a recommended fix.
Audit limits depend on your plan:
  • Starter: 3 SEO audits per month
  • Pro: Unlimited SEO audits
  • Agency: Unlimited SEO audits
Upgrade at any time from Settings → Billing to increase your limit.
No. The SEO audit analyzes the specific URL you submit. It checks up to 50 links found on that page and derives internal linking data from that crawl. It is a page-level audit, not a full-site crawl. To audit deep pages or specific sections of your site, submit those URLs individually.

Integrations

Follow these steps to connect GSC to your Linkstonic workspace:
  1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Click Connect next to Google Search Console.
  3. Sign in with the Google account that has access to your GSC property.
  4. Grant read-only permissions when prompted.
  5. Select the GSC property that matches your brand’s domain.
Once connected, Linkstonic begins pulling organic keyword rankings, impressions, clicks, and average position data into SearchMind. Google Search Console integration is available on Pro and Agency plans only.
Yes. To import keywords from a Google Sheet:
  1. Open AI Tracking or SearchMind.
  2. Click Add Keywords → Import from Google Sheets.
  3. Paste your spreadsheet URL.
  4. Select the column that contains your keywords.
  5. Click Import.
Make sure the spreadsheet is set to allow access for anyone with the link. This feature is available on Pro and Agency plans only.
Agency plan users receive a dedicated webhook endpoint and API key. You can POST to the endpoint with an action parameter — valid values are track, analyze, report, and monitor — to trigger Linkstonic operations programmatically. Include an optional callback_url parameter to receive async results when a job completes. See the n8n Webhooks guide for full request and response details.
Yes. To configure Discord alerts:
  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Discord.
  2. Paste your Discord webhook URL and save.
  3. When creating or editing any alert, choose Discord as the delivery method.
