If you manage your keyword strategy in a spreadsheet, you don’t need to re-enter every keyword manually in Linkstonic. The Google Sheets import lets you point Linkstonic at any spreadsheet, select the column containing your keywords, and add them all to AI Tracking or SearchMind in a single step. Keep your master keyword list in Sheets and pull it into Linkstonic whenever your strategy evolves.

What it does

The Sheets integration reads a column of keywords from a Google Spreadsheet you specify and adds them to your Linkstonic tracking list. This is especially useful when:
  • You’re onboarding a new brand or client and already have a keyword list built elsewhere.
  • You maintain a shared team spreadsheet that non-Linkstonic users contribute keywords to.
  • You want to organize keyword sets by topic or campaign in separate sheet tabs and import them selectively.

Prerequisites

Before you import, make sure you have:
  • A Pro or Agency plan — the Google Sheets import is not available on the Starter plan.
  • A Google Spreadsheet with keywords listed in a single column, one keyword per row.
  • The spreadsheet must be shared with view access or have link sharing enabled — Linkstonic needs to be able to read it without requiring interactive sign-in.
Structure your spreadsheet so keywords occupy a single column with an optional header in the first row. Linkstonic lets you choose which column to import, so your spreadsheet can contain other data as long as keywords are in their own column.

You can have additional columns for notes, search volume, priority ratings, or any other metadata — Linkstonic only reads the column you select during import.

Set up Google Sheets import

1

Copy the spreadsheet URL

Open your Google Spreadsheet in a browser and copy the full URL from the address bar.
2

Navigate to keyword import in Linkstonic

Go to AI Tracking or SearchMind and click Add Keywords.
3

Choose Sheets import

Click Import from Google Sheets to open the import panel.
4

Paste the spreadsheet URL and select the sheet tab

Paste the spreadsheet URL into the field. Linkstonic will fetch the available sheet tabs — select the one that contains your keyword list.
5

Select the keyword column

Choose the column that contains your keywords from the column selector. If your first row is a header, Linkstonic detects this automatically and excludes it from the import.
6

Import

Click Import. All keywords from the selected column are added to your tracking list immediately. Linkstonic deduplicates against keywords you’re already tracking, so you won’t end up with duplicates if there is overlap.
Maintain a single source-of-truth keyword list in Google Sheets — organized by topic, funnel stage, or campaign — and import fresh into Linkstonic whenever your strategy changes. Because Linkstonic deduplicates on import, you can safely re-import an updated version of your full list without worrying about double-counting existing keywords.

Keeping keywords in sync

Linkstonic performs a one-time import and does not auto-sync with your spreadsheet after that. If you add or remove keywords in Sheets, return to Add KeywordsImport from Google Sheets and repeat the import. New keywords are added; keywords already in Linkstonic are deduplicated and skipped. If you need to remove keywords from Linkstonic that you’ve deleted from Sheets, do so manually from your keyword list in AI Tracking or SearchMind.
Keywords imported from Google Sheets count toward your plan’s total keyword limit, the same as keywords added manually. Check your current usage under SettingsPlan & Usage before importing large lists.

Connect Google Search Console

Sync keyword position data, click-through rates, and impressions directly from GSC.

AI Tracking

Monitor how AI platforms mention your brand for any keyword you’re tracking.
